October 2016 -- Garden Maze is done up in Connecting Thread's Winter Rhapsody collection above left. I love the way the stripes connect to create the background diamonds. Pattern and fabrics are available from Connecting Threads. The quilt at right is a variation of the design commissioned as a special birthday gift. The use of bolder, more saturated color ways results in a more contemporary look.
