September 2017 -- Monkey Wrench and Spool and Bobbin blocks combine to make this design, so the idea of naming it Spools and Wrenches came pretty quickly. It's also appropriate considering all those thread spools in the border fabric, part of the Emma and Myrtle collection by Connecting Threads. (As you can guess, the Spool and Bobbin block also inspired my business name.) Fabric and pattern available from Connecting Threads.
