October 2012 - This is an easy, fun design especially suited for theme or novelty fabrics. This quilt was made with Hawaiian-themed fabrics. The pattern is the first I made for QuiltWoman. Photo by MS Rezny Studio.

October 2012 - There's a new quilt magazine on the market, The Bling quilt, shown above, was featured in the Premiere issue. The quilt was fun, easy and quick--exactly the kind of project the magazine aims to provide. The bold fabrics used were perfect for this kind of design. Photo provided by

Rustic Charm quiltJuly 2012 - The fabrics in this quilt, from the Autumn Bouquet collection by Quilting Treasures, are so beautiful. The quilt with pattern is featured in the Sept/Oct issue of Quilt magazine.

April 2012 - This is my most recent design for Connecting Threads. The quilt uses two very old block designs, Missouri Puzzle and a variation of Burgoyne Surrounded. This is a scrappy treatment using the company's Saltbox Village fabric line. Photo by Connecting Threads.

April 2012 - The fabrics in the Bloomsbury collection by Newcastle Fabrics were perfect for the clean, classic design  of this lap quilt. The quilt is featured in the April/May 2012 issue of Quilt magazine.

countrycheckers2April 2012 - This is a wonderful old quilt design. The block is called Country Checkers, appropriately I think. Some quilters like this as a scrappy design, but I love it done in a one-color palette, as shown here. Pattern available from Connecting Threads.

October 2011 - Western Kentucky University's PBS show "MainStreet" recently featured a segment about me and Bob in our studio. We enjoyed their visit while filming and are thrilled with the video that resulted. You can view it below.
