I love this design. It was developed with Christmas/holiday fabric in mind, but I decided to make it in decidedly not Christmas fabric. Mardi Gras came to mind while making the quilt, so that's what I named it. One of my testers chose patriotic fabric. Or use batiks, earthy/nature themed colors, whatever.
